CloudCME 101: Getting Started

The UCSF Office of Continuing Medical Education will launch CloudCME – a new platform designed to provide a faster, easier, and more personalized continuing education experience for learners, faculty, and program administrators.

This transition reflects our continued commitment to advancing lifelong learning and professional development across UCSF.

Resources, training and reference materials are now available. We recommend you start here to learn more about the new CE Portal platform, selecting your preferred way to learn: Video icon video, file icon slides, or file icon downloadable guides. Each section below contains content in various formats.

CloudCME® Getting Started

The Attendee Portal is your personalized dashboard within CloudCME®. It provides quick access to registration, credit claiming, transcripts, certificates, and profile management tools to help you navigate your continuing education (CE) experience. Whether you're registering for an upcoming event, completing evaluations, or updating your profile, the Attendee Portal centralizes everything in one place.

Accessing the Portal

  1. Visit https://ucsf.cloud-cme.com.
  2. Click Sign In and log in using your credentials.
  3. Once logged in, you will be directed to the Attendee Portal home screen.

View & Register for Activities

Find and register for upcoming or available CME activities:

  • Use the course catalog or search filters to find relevant sessions.
  • Click on an activity title for full details.
  • Register directly through the portal interface if registration is open.

Claim Credit & Complete Evaluations

After attending a CE activity:

  • Navigate to the My CE or Evaluations & Certificates section.
  • Complete any required evaluations for the activity.
  • Claim your CE credit and download your certificate instantly.

Manage Your Profile

Maintain accurate information to ensure proper credit tracking:

  • Click Edit Profile to update your contact info, degree, profession, specialty, and more.
  • Ensure your profile is complete before registering or claiming credit.

Access Transcripts and Certificates

  • Download a comprehensive transcript of all your CloudCME® CE activity via the Transcript tab.
  • Reprint individual certificates for any completed activities.

Important Quick Tips about Your Profile

  1. Confirm your name is the one you wish to use on credit documentation like certificates. The name will appear exactly as entered (including typographical errors or improper capitalization).
  2. Ensure your Degree has been selected from the drop-down, as an incorrect degree may have been migrated from another system. Credentials with periods, for example, will not be recognized and will cause an error.
  3. Selecting your primary Profession is required to receive the right kind of credit or certificate.
  4. Physicians who wish to claim MOC points (when available) must complete their Board Diplomate information. Without it, your points will not be reported.
  5. Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians must enter their NABP electronic ID information in the Credentials field of the profile. Without this information, your credit cannot be reported to CPE Monitor(R).
