The course consists of half-day morning sessions Sunday thru Friday, with a full-day off on Wednesday:
Neuro = Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
MSK = Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Neuroradiology topics to be addressed include an imaging overview of adult and pediatric neuroradiological disorders including stroke, demyelinating disease, intracranial hemorrhage and epilepsy; in addition to perineural tumor imaging and nodal disease, sella and parasellar tumors, pulsatile tinnitus, and intracranial and head & neck infections.
Musculoskeletal topics will include presentations of the major joints and the spine, along with reviews of bone marrow, injuries, infection, tumors and rheumatological disorders.

Objectives
As a result of the education, I intend to:

  1. Recommend CT/MR protocols for optimal brain and head & neck imaging and interpretation.
  2. Recognize critical imaging features to distinguish different types of intracranial and head & neck infections and recognize common mimics.
  3. Distinguish important sella and parasellar pathologies, and important differentials for patients presenting with headaches and intracranial hemorrhage.
  4. Review key imaging and clinical differentials and mimics of common disease processes in the brain, spine and head & neck.
  5. Interpret internal derangement and post-operative appearances of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, ankle and spine
  6. Identify important imaging characteristics of infection, rheumatologic disorders and bone tumors.
  7. Recognize normal and abnormal findings of the bone marrow as well as recognize MRI findings related to trauma and bone contusion.
