The Office of CME offers several training opportunities throughout the year, including regular webinars and ad hoc curricula as needs require. Select the title of an available opportunity below for more details or to register.

• CE Credit Standards: Learn about the standards, criteria, and procedures for certifying an activity for continuing education credit and maintain compliance with accredited education policies.

• How to Write an Excellent Credit Request: Discover best practices to make your application to request CE credit the best that it can be, to expedite review by subject matter experts and gain insights into better instructional design.

CE Portal Training Series: Managing Live Activities in CloudCME® ^New!

These training sessions are hands-on, interactive labs. The goal will be to complete a walk-through of course setup and maintenance with an activity of your choosing; however, if you do not have an activity ready to work on, you will be able to follow along with a test activity.

This series is available only for a limited time throughout October 2025! (Recordings will be available in the near future.)

RSS Coordinator Refresher Series ^{Coming soon.}

The goal of these sessions is to reinforce management of regularly scheduled series in the CE Portal. Dates and topics to be announced soon!

CloudCME® Clinic: Ask Me (Almost) Anything

The doctor is in! These drop-in sessions occur on a weekly basis to answer questions, conduct mini-trainings, remove obstacles, and think through brighter solutions. Drop by anytime! Some sessions will be dedicated to specific parts of managing the system with various subject matter experts. Check the schedule for the session that fits your needs.

Jump in and out as needed for a quick orientation; stay to join the conversation and hear others' questions; or bring your best practices to the group. These are not generalized training sessions, but small group or one-on-one discussions to help with the use of the system.

Note that certain sessions may be cancelled by competing priorities or all-day events, and these will be noted with as much notice as possible. If none of these work for you because of other obligations, let us know, and we will try to schedule a time suitable for you where possible. Note that, like everyone, OCME's staff time is limited, too.??

Unless specified otherwise, the CloudCME Doctor is in the following dates (through February 2026), holidays and ad hoc events excluded.

Office Hours Etiquette:

Sessions may be recorded/transcribed/AI'd for training purposes; if any video or transcription is used publicly, such as posted to a resources web page, only video of slides or text transcriptions will be published to keep attendees anonymous. OK to keep your camera on!

This is not a formal meeting. Come in any time during the scheduled hours, and leave when you need to. While participating...

DO NOT:

• Interrupt a conversation in progress upon entering

• Talk over others without raising your virtual hand

• Steer the session into complaints that may be specific to your situation; for that, schedule time here for assistance one-on-one: https://ucsf.cloud-cme.com/content/contactus

• Be disappointed if your question needs to be answered offline.

• Assume your host knows everything; we are learning together in some cases! :-) But we can research it and get back to the group.

• Be disappointed if we can't get to everything within the allotted time - OCME will try to follow up after the fact if necessary.

DO:

• Be collaborative and help think through issues without workarounds

• Accept your internal processes may need to be adjusted to work well within the system

• Put your question in the chat to add to the queue during the session (if necessary)

• Raise your virtual hand to contribute to the conversation

• Contribute your experiences, positive or negative, or best practices during the conversation (either by chat or raising your hand)

• Report potential bugs that others may also be experiencing

• Accept that your host doesn't know everything, and may need to research some issues, or even another attendee may know!

• Feel free to leave when your question is answered, or stay to participate with others

• Know it's OK if you're the only person in the room, even for 5 minutes.

• Be confident there are no silly questions; we'll try not to provide silly answers.

• Feel comfortable to leave when you need/want to.
