Objectives
As a result of the education, I intend to:

  1. Apply evidence-based principles of reproductive psychopharmacology to optimize medication selection, dosing, and counseling across the reproductive lifespan.
  2. Assess and identify sexual health concerns in midlife patients and integrate appropriate biopsychosocial treatment strategies into clinical care.
  3. Screen for and evaluate perinatal body image disturbances and eating disorders, and implement early, evidence-based interventions.
  4. Analyze reproductive toxicology data and incorporate risk-benefit considerations into shared decision-making with patients.
  5. Demonstrate culturally responsive approaches to perinatal mental healthcare, particularly for Asian American patients, to improve engagement and treatment outcomes.
  6. Integrate interdisciplinary and patient-centered strategies to address barriers to care, including stigma, access limitations, and system-level constraints.
  7. Modify clinical practice by incorporating updated screening tools, counseling approaches, and treatment frameworks to improve reproductive mental health outcomes.
