Overview

The California Child & Adolescent Mental Health Access Portal (Cal-MAP) is a pediatric mental health care access program designed to increase timely access to mental health care for California youth. Cal-MAP's team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers provide free consultation, education, and resource navigation to California's primary care providers (PCPs) caring for mental and behavioral healthcare needs in youth ages 0-25.

This free Project ECHO series from Cal-MAP provides practical, clinically oriented education on addressing common mental health conditions and concerns in children, adolescents & young adults. Project ECHO sessions consist of brief didactics followed by case discussions shared by participants, using an "all teach- all learn" approach. The intended inter-professional audience consists of primary care providers serving youth ages 0-25, and medical, behavioral health, and educator care team members at schools and school-based health centers.
