Overview
This five-day course will update the clinical radiologist on the use of CT, PET, MRI and ultrasound. Recent changes to guidelines and protocols, potential pitfalls for misinterpretation of image findings, and methods for improving scan and image quality, report clarity, and accurate differential diagnosis will be presented.

Objectives
As a result of the education, I intend to:

  1. Minimize interpretation errors
  2. Form appropriate differential diagnosis based upon multi-modality imaging of the key organ systems
  3. Apply strategies to minimize the exposure of patients to radiation
  4. Accurately interpret mammographic, US and MRI images in the analysis of breast presentations
  5. Recognize image markers for various diseases and conditions in the chest and pulmonary system
  6. Describe key findings of diseases of the brain and head & neck
  7. Recognize imaging signs of joint dysfunction in the knee and shoulder
  8. Optimize CT, MR and US for evaluation of pathologies involving the genitourinary and gastrointestinal tracts
